This allows us to offer various types of careers that might suit our candidates\u2019 area of expertise or interest. Gain insights, as we discuss about some under-the-radar luxury retail jobs, which are essential in contributing to the success for luxury brands.<\/p>\n

Store Designer<\/b><\/p>\n

Part of the Luxury experience is the in-store experience. The role of the Store Designer is to provide a luxurious experience right when a customer steps into the store. They usually take direction from HQ and the brand team following strict guidelines covering details such as types of furniture, flooring and layout to maximize space. To be a Store Designer, you will need to proficient in software such as Autocad, Vectorworks, Photoshop and Illustrator. Apart from store designs, you are required to create and design pop up booths that is usually part of a marketing campaign.<\/p>\n

Visual Merchandising Manager<\/b><\/p>\n

Ever stop to think about the people behind the design of a captivating display in the store\u2019s window? The role of the Visual Merchandiser is to create effective store window displays. They are deliberately curated and designed to appeal to the eye of the consumer. Fashion industry VMs have to work closely with the marketing team to ensure ideas align with the marketing campaign. As such, part of the VM\u2019s job includes sourcing for props and display materials. In the beauty industry however, VMs are experts in planogram and tend to focus on how products are presented and stored. Some of these booths have been creatively designed with the intention to also engage with the consumers.<\/p>\n

Client Development Manager<\/b><\/p>\n

Interested in taking your sales associate career to the next level? A Client Development Manager takes the luxury experience up a notch by maintaining the relationship and informing clients of the latest release. They are the epitome the perfect brand ambassador and carry out duties of a personal shopper for VIP clients as well. You should have a passion for coaching new sales associate and passing knowledge on how to excel at the job. Apart from that, a Client Development Manager has to move from shop to shop, observe and mentor junior staff.<\/p>\n

Watch Technician<\/b><\/p>\n

Probably the least common job we\u2019ve posted in recent years. The journey to in becoming a full-fledged Watch Technician is a long and arduous one. Beginning the career through an apprenticeship program. A technician under training will most likely be sent to watchmaking schools in Hong Kong and Malaysia. One will work with basic movements and slowly move up the ladder of complications. We foresee an increase in demand for watch technicians in the future, a highly skilled job that is under appreciated. If you have a passion for watches and horology, this might be the job for you.<\/p>\n

Digital Analytics Manager<\/b><\/p>\n

From leveraging social media to utilizing influencers, there is no doubt the digital media buy for Luxury brands has increased. As a Digital Analytics Manager, numbers should speak to you.
