The Sales Associate role is ideal for candidates who have a strong interest for Fashion, Watches or Luxury combined with a passion for sales.

Bulk of your job requires interacting with customers. You will play a large role in shaping the experience of every customer who enters the boutique. From welcoming and greeting them to providing brand and product knowledge when answering their queries, you will have to strike a balance between being professional and amiable.

Other aspects of this job include achieving personal sales target and providing after sales service. Also, maintaining and developing customer relationships through individual approach and leveraging on CRM.

Although a degree is not required for this position, do note that being a Sales Associate in these industries will definitely demand more than in other sectors. Nevertheless, payoffs will also be better, with pay typically starting from $3,000, excluding commission.

2)     Retail Operation Supervisor

The role is akin to a conductor of an orchestra making sure everything runs smoothly.

As an assistant to the Retail Operation Manager, you will need to manage the retail store operations. This includes stock inventory management, working with suppliers, distributors and duty-free partners, administration and IT support. The job also entails driving sales by being on top of promotions, coming up with incentives and teaching staff how to hit sales targets. You will also have the opportunity to head store projects such as store opening, renovation or relocation.

Although best suited for those who studied retail management in school, no degree is required to apply for this position. Being meticulous and tactful with excellent interpersonal skills are key attributes for this position.

3)     Digital Marketing Executive

Lastly, the position of Digital Marketing Executive might entice those who are more in tune with new technologies and social media.

The job requires you to oversee the online marketing strategy, plan and execute digital (including email) marketing campaigns, design, maintain and supply content for websites and social media.
